Terms & Conditions for Recruiters
1. DEFINITIONS
1.1 In these Terms of Use the following definitions
apply:
| “Access”
|
means
Access-ScienceJobs.co.uk of; BioCity, Pennyfoot
Street,
Nottingham.
NG1 1GF. (Registered Company Number 5204858).

| “Job Seeker”
|
the applicant who has registered their details
with Access with the intention of finding suitable employment.
|
| “Recruiter”
|
the person, firm or corporate body together with
any subsidiary or associated Company as defined by the Companies
Act 1985 who has entered a service agreement whereby Access
supplies services to that party.

| “Website”
|
the Website located on the internet
at www.access-sciencejobs.co.uk where Access promotes its
services to both Recruiter and the Job Seeker.
|
| “Advertisement”
|
any
promotional material supplied by a Recruiter to display
for transmission on the Website. |
1.2 Unless the context requires otherwise, references
to the singular include the plural and references to the masculine include
the feminine and vice versa.
1.3 The headings contained in these Terms of Use
are for convenience only and do not affect their interpretation.
2.
GENERAL
2.1 This website is owned, managed and
maintained by Access Job Boards Ltd, where Access-ScienceJobs.co.uk is
the trading name. It is made available to you based on the Terms of Use
set below, and by using the website you accept these Terms of Use.
2.2
Access complies
with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998, with regards to the
handling of and respect of any Job Seeker information received
and will endeavour to keep such information confidential unless requested
to do otherwise.
2.3 All copyright, database rights and any other
intellectual property rights including material provided on the Website
are owned by Access Job Boards Ltd or its third party suppliers.
2.4
Access
do not
act or have any relationship as an Employment Agency or business, to provide
Employment services on behalf of any Recruiter , Job Seeker
or any other user of the Website .
3.
JOB SEEKER REGISTRATION
3.1 Job Seekers are required to register
their details on the Website , and are given the option to disclose
his or her details to a third party. In order to comply with the Data
Protection Act, if requested by the Job Seeker , Access
will only make available their contact details and/or copies of the CV's
which have been received for distribution to registered Recruiters
for the sole purpose of finding suitable employment for the Job
Seeker.
3.2 It is the Job Seeker's responsibility
to indicate their right for their details to remain anonymous. Access
cannot be held liable if this requirement is not expressed.
3.3 It is the responsibility of the Job Seeker
to provide details which are a true and accurate reflection of themselves,
their education & training and their employment history.
3.4 The Job Seeker is obliged to keep
their registered password confidential, and to not disclose to any other
person. Any misuse of the Website under their password will
be the responsibility of the registered Job Seeker.
3.5
Access
has the
discretionary right at any time and without notice to decline, suspend
or delete any Job Seekers details if deemed to be inaccurate,
inappropriate or unsuitable for the purpose of the Website.
3.6 The Job Seeker is responsible for
notifying Access of a change of email address and should be
confirmed in writing to
Access will update the Job Seekers' login details
and confirm new details via email.
4.
APPLICATIONS
4.1 The Job Seeker is required to register
their details through the registration process on the Website in
order to apply for any vacancy advertised.
4.2 It is the responsibility of the Job Seeker
to have fully read and understood the requirements of the vacancy
and have a reasonable cause to believe they would be suitable.
4.3 The Job Seeker is personally liable
to satisfy all the necessary immigration requirements of the country where
the vacancy is to be held.
4.4
Access
cannot
be held liable for any inaccurate, misinterpreted or ambiguous information
given within the content of the Advertisement by the Recruiter.
5.
LIABILITY
5.1
Access
hold no responsibility for any loss, delay, damage or costs howsoever
caused through the use of the Website.
5.2 It is the liability of the Recruiter
to provide adequate and accurate information on any of the Advertisements
they have on the Website.
6.
CANCELLATION
6.1 The Job Seeker may cancel their registration
details at any time by replying to any email correspondence with "delete"
in the subject heading. All details will then be deleted from our database
within 24 hours.
6.2
Access
may at
its sole discretion, terminate all provision of services to the Job
Seeker, arising from a breach of any obligations under these Terms
of Use.
7.
LAW
7.1
These Terms of Use are governed by the law of England & Wales and
are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England &
Wales.
